Grindrod South Africa is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Supervisor - Minerals to join their dynamic team.
Job description
To supervise the resources, monitor the processes and systems of the operations department and be accountable for all mining mineral operations on behalf of Grindrod Intermodal, with the aim of achieving the division’s service expectations, productivity, and financial performance targets.

Minimum requirements
- Grade 12
- Diploma / Certificate in Freight is advantageousÂ
Experience:
- 3 years in a freight handling environment (Mining Minerals) with 1 year in a supervisory role
Job Specific Requirements
- Sound knowledge of freight maintenance and cargo logistics
- Technical competence (Mining Mineral Warehousing)
- Good analytical abilit
- Leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels, written (Electronic media), and verbal
- Sound operational knowledge of computer systems and software packages
