United Container Depots is looking to secure the permanent services of an Administration Supervisor. All suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply.
Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:
 
  • Preparing month-end reports
  • Ensuring that all admin controllers attend to customer queries timeously
  • Managing Work in Progress (WIP) and ensuring that reports are accurate
  • Ensuring accurate monthly invoicing of Storage, Handling & M R related activity
  • Ensuring that debtors queries are attended to timeously to improve depot cashflow 
  • Managing the capturing of all repairs estimates by data captures
  • Ensuring that all completed job cards are loaded on the operating system for final invoicing.
  • Ensuring that all admin controllers continuously follow up with customers on daily basis for 
    outstanding approvals
  • Investigating and analysing outstanding invoices and processing.
  • Ensuring that client and supplier queries are investigated, analysed and resolved timeously
  • Maintaining the highest standard of customer service within the department
  • Ensuring that work is carried out according to set company procedures, SOPs, regulations, and 
    safety standards.

Minimum requirements

Qualification/s:
  •  Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
  •  National Diploma in Administration / related qualification
Experience:
  •  3 - 5 Years’ relevant industry experience
  •  2 years at a supervisory level
Required Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of invoicing, reporting and WIP management processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent time management skills
