Introduction
Grindrod South Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a self-motivated, driven, and innovative Talent Administrator to join our Durban office. This role supports recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and finance-related tasks within the Talent department.
Job description

Recruitment & Selection

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment: job adverts, CV screening, interviews, background checks.
  • Conduct interviews and maintain professional candidate communication.
  • Support onboarding and induction processes.

Administration

  • Manage office requirements for the Talent department.
  • Provide administrative support for BBBEE audits.
  • Assist with training initiatives: learnerships, internships, apprenticeships, and graduate programmes.
  • Host visitors and coordinate meetings.

Reporting

  • Track recruitment activities and HR services.
  • Compile monthly HR reports.
  • Monitor and report on cost recovery from divisions.

Finance

  • Process and validate invoices on SAP.
  • Resolve supplier payment queries and ensure adherence to payment terms.
  • Coordinate cost recovery for HR services.

Minimum requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resources.
  • Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) certification.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in HR or recruitment.
  • Proficiency in Pnet and LinkedIn.
