The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall supervision and maintenance of product, material, machinery and infrastructure on site, ensuring efficient and systematic material flow.
Job description
Operations:
- Loading/discharging of vessels.
- Allocate work on vessels.
- Ensure cargo is loaded in correct hatches and discharge.
- Enforce procedures.
Supervision:
- Ensure optimum team in place for days operational requirements
- Create an enabling environment, for team to perform at optimal level.
- Manage subordinates to achieve company objectives.
Health and Safety:
- Maintain SHEQ requirements within areas of responsibility.
- Maintain and enforce adherence to wearing of PPE.
Minimum requirements
Qualification / s
- Grade 12/ Matric
Experience
- 5 years’ Stevedoring experience.
- Code 08 Drivers’ licence.
