Introduction
The Commercial Administrator provides critical administrative and commercial support to the terminal and logistics business. The role ensures accurate contract administration, pricing support, billing coordination, customer documentation, and commercial data integrity, enabling effective revenue management and strong customer relationships.
Job description

Commercial & Contract Support
  • Provide administrative support for commercial agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), and customer contracts.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date repository of contracts, pricing schedules, and amendments.
  • Track contract milestones, renewals, and escalations.
  • Support the implementation of new customers, services, and tariffs.

Pricing, Tariffs & Billing Support
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of tariffs, rate cards, and pricing models.
  • Ensure correct customer pricing is applied to operational and billing systems.
  • Support monthly billing processes by validating volumes, rates, and contract terms.
  • Investigate billing queries and coordinate resolution with operations and finance teams.

Customer & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Act as a key point of coordination between commercial, operations, finance, and customers.
  • Support responses to customer pricing queries, proposals, and commercial documentation.
  • Assist with preparing quotations, commercial packs, and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain accurate customer master data.

Data, Reporting & Compliance
  • Maintain commercial databases, trackers, and dashboards.
  • Prepare regular reports on volumes, revenue, contract performance, and variances.
  • Ensure compliance with internal commercial policies, governance standards, and delegated authorities.
  • Support internal and external audits related to contracts and revenue.

Operational & Logistics Interface
Liaise with terminal operations and logistics teams to verify throughput, storage, handling, and transport data.
Ensure operational data aligns with commercial and billing requirements.
Support implementation of new services, lanes, or operational changes from a commercial perspective.

Minimum requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
2 - 3 years’ experience in a commercial, finance, logistics, terminal, or operations support role.
Experience in ports, terminals, logistics, or infrastructure‑based businesses will be a strong advantage.
